About me
I graduated with a degree in History from the University of Cambridge in 2014 and then trained to become a teacher at the University of Buckingham. I graduated with Distinction (PGCE with QTS) and have since taught at Glendower Preparatory School, Highgate Junior School (London Independent School of the Decade - The Sunday Times) and the Dragon School. I have been Head of Department and hold qualifications in KS2 Learning Support.
For ten years, I have tutored students in Years 3 - 8. I have extensive experience in Maths, English, Verbal Reasoning and Non-Verbal Reasoning, but I also offer support in the Humanities and the Sciences. Sessions focus on consolidating classroom learning and preparing children for the 7+, 11+ and 13+ tests. I have particular expertise supporting children through the ISEBs, SATs, 11+ grammar school tests, independent school entrance tests and secondary school scholarship exams. Previous students have been awarded places at, among others, Harrow, Eton, Winchester, St Paul’s, Roedean, Francis Holland, and Streatham and Clapham High School GDST.
I offer lessons in-person and online.
I live in Oxford with my husband, also a teacher, and my young daughter.
